I feel like exactly 1 million 46 thousand 5 hundred and 4 bucks! :shock:
And here’s why…….
I ran 4 miles in 40:13!
I ran the entire thing and only stopped once and it was for a stop light so really it doesn’t count. And I did it at a 10:03 average pace! BOOYEAH!
My splits were…..
- mile 1- 10:05
- mile 2- 10:02
- mile 3- 10:12
- mile 4- 9:55
When I realized I might make it in under 40 minutes I kicked it in a little hard. Major Motivation :mrgreen:
After my run I needed to get my strength training in that I missed yesterday so I did Tae Bo Target Total Body. I burned some major calories today.
Before my run I had lunch with my coworkers.
I’m slowly trying to get a little gluten into my diet. I’m hoping to stay mostly gluten free but I want to see if my body can handle the gluten or not……. My tummy kinda freaked out after my workout today but I need to experiment a little more before I go gluten free FOREVER!
Lunch was a chargrilled chicken burrito (chicken, rice, beans and salsa) and chips with salsa. I was S-T-U-F-F-E-D. So stuffed I needed to run some errands to walk off my fullness. :oops:
While out I treated myself to a Gingerade Kombucha tea.
That face is for the sneaky 4 bite chocolate gluten/dairy free brownie I simply had to have after lunch………
Post workout I tried some GU Chomps in preparation for fueling my long runs.
I was so shaky, I was really glad I had them for after my fitness. The chomps tasted really good and they kept my hunger away until after practice at 8pm. I’ll definitely be using these in the coming weeks. The strawberry was tasty!
I made a super quick dinner of Spicy Black Bean Soup because I had a date with last night’s Bachelor!
Totally embarrassing… my fingers are still a little pruney from my shower. I prune really quick. :???:
After my soup I needed chocolate like NOW so I had some Rice Dream chocolate chips, which have no dairy and make me 8 ways of happy.
Thanks for all your tweets of encouragement after my run! And for your intuitive eating thoughts. You all keep me going strong. :mrgreen:

You can do it!! Just keep pushing through your runs and you’ll get there when your legs are ready and the time is right.

i’ve tried GU chomps before and they are decent, my first love is the cliff shot blocks…so good and really easy to get down. wait until you try these during your longer runs..its like a ridiculous burst of energy in your legs..i love it!
I saw them at REI!! I’ll have to get one and try it out. The GU Chomps are kinda chewy, but I started sucking on them and they were delish.
