Do you Bump?

November 13, 2012

Ladies, and gentlemen I didn’t use to Bump. But now… I all I do is Bump.

I’m Bumping left. I’m Bumping right. I’m Bumping here and I’m definitely Bumping there.

Bump-ing!

I take most of my pictures that I use on the blog from my iPhone and I’ve done this really laborious process of emailing them to myself for almost 2 years. It takes forever and sometimes I have to send the photos multiple times before they will actually send.

Today I discovered the Bump app.

Wait to hear about this magic!

  1. So first you open the app on your android or iPhone.
  2. Then select the photos from your camera roll you want to send to your computer.
  3. Go to the Bump website on your computer.
  4. bump your phone on the spacebar and your photos will be instantly on your computer ready for download.

Holy Toledo, it was SO COOL!

I know I just changed your life.

You’re welcome!

All Little Delicious-ness.

That, my friends, is a bbq tri-tip sandwich and garlic fries.

I figured you needed a little bit of joy in your morning.

Ha, having to e-mail photos to myself is so annoying! Luckily for most pictures that I take on my iphone I simply hook it up to my mac every night and move them over in like 30 seconds. But without a mac at home I’d be all over the bumping!

I wish I had a mac for exactly that reason!

Bump sounds cool. Reminds me of iCloud in a sense.

Well if I had a mac I wouldn’t really have a problem, because of the cloud. But I’m a PC user for all computers so I had to get a little creative.

I didn’t know that! I have a pc too. Have you tried DropBox? I believe that’s for all computers, but then again, it might be the same thing as Bump, so it’s all good.

I’ve tried DropBox and I loved it until it lost a really important file. I think I’m being a blonde-paranoid person, but it was very traumatic, so now I’m sworn off DropBox.

It’s a personal choice. ;-)

Cool app! I have iphoto on my mac so my I just have to remember to hook my phone up to my comp and download them. Emailing seems so tedious, so glad bump is working for ya!

Gosh, having a Mac is always the way to go it seems. iPhone to PC is just trouble.

Bump sounds pretty cool. I use Photosync, which gives you the option of downloading (or uploading?) to your computer (on the same network), another iphone, ipod, or ipad, or to dropbox.

Neat! I use the WordPress App to upload photos to my blog. Once they are uploaded, I edit from there.

Thank you so much for posting this! I’ve just switched to iPhone lately and been having the same trouble. I couldn’t believe I had to email myself iPhone pics. There’s got to be a better way… and here it is.

I’m downloading as we speak. I use Google Drive too but I think I may like this better! Thanks for sharing!
