Happy Sweet Friday!
I made oats into a healthy sweet friday treat this morning.
And boy are they good. It’s a good thing I actually can’t make them all the time because I’d have Sweet Friday Oatmeal every morning.
Chai Oats with Nutella!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup non fat chai tea latte from the ‘Bucks
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- pinch salt
- pinch milled flax seeds
- vanilla extract.
Make the oats over the stove top in the chai tea latte, salt, flax seed, vanilla blend. Once done top with
- a very small handful granola, I used Barbara’s Blend from my trip to Tahoe.
- 1 TBSP Nutella
Pair with a mug of coffee and milk, no sweetener because the sweet breakfast will be enough.
Yum-o! This is the way to start off Sweet Friday right!
On the Agenda
Today is going to be crazy. I have PT at 7:30, it is now 7:14.
I have to commute at 10:30(ish)
I have class from 12:30-1:40
I have another class from 2:00-3:10
I have to commute home at 3:30(ish)
I have basketball practice at 5:15-7:00
Then I finally get to come home and study?!
Holy cow, I have a feeling studying wont happen. Too tired. Max and I might get together and see Black Swan since I already warned him that I wouldn’t be hanging out this weekend. Midterms are less than a week away.
I’m off and running to do some fitness, maybe. The ankle is really stiff this morning. Maybe I need to start including a rest day during the week and extending my fitness into the weekend?.

Must be that great coaching that’s leading to all of those wins! :) You are busy!! Have you tried pilates or yoga? Sometimes when my back is acting up, it feels better to do a type of exercise that means I’ll be laying on the floor a lot :) Hope you have a great day! Good luck studying!
Chai latte + oats sounds heavenly. Although I think the challenge would be saving the chai long enough to make the oats. I’d probably drink it all by the time I got back from starbucks!
