I just got home! It’s 7:49pm! I also drove a total of 4 hrs today and only managed to make it 42 miles from my house. Gross.
Perhaps we should start at the beginning… well after breakfast.
I skipped coffee break today and went straight to lunch. After making it to campus and siting through my last politics class before the mid term (we can all stress now) I broke out lunch.
My stomach was grumbling so I ate this strawberry NutriGrain bar while walking back to my car. I love these. We have a huge box that has strawberry, apple, blueberry, and mixed berry in it. I can’t wait ‘til we break open the mixed berry. Yum.
Once I made it to the car and had free hands I took a bite out of my sandwich thin turkey and provolone ‘wich.
Sandwich thin with brown mustard, romaine lettuce, provolone cheese, and turkey breast. Simple yet yummy!
This lunch had me set for the drive home. I took a little break from “life” once I walked in the door and watched about 45 minutes of sitcom tv. Then I rushed out to get to Balance. My ankle hasn’t adjusted to running too well so I had an emergency appointment with my physical therapist to hopefully make it feel a little better.
John did the usual adjustments with pushing, prodding, shoving and popping. Unfortunately it doesn’t feel better. But there’s still hope. Like the chiropractor, sometimes physical therapy feels really bad right after but really great next day. I have my fingers crossed.
We had a game in Gilroy tonight. This is the last team we play for a while that can beat us! And boy was the game close. We Won! But only by 10 points, and we only pulled ahead by more than 2 with 2 minutes left. I was really really nervous.
Before the game I stopped for a snack. It was definitely time.
I had a grande iced coffee with soy milk from the ‘Bucks. The soy gives it such a great flavor and some pretty intense filling factor. I also bought some organic dried mango to munch on during the freshman game.
Much a do about mango!
I was also a little bad once at the game because I split a bag of plain m & m’s with a friend. The chocolate craving was definitely my nerves talking. I was munching little colored chocolates and my leg was violently twitching. Not good…
My mom had dinner waiting for me when I got home! SCORE one for MOM!
Mom’s Famous Minestrone Soup with turkey and parm on top and a crescent roll for dipping. I filled a little bowl in preparation for a long night. I like to munch while studying and I’ll be up pretty late tonight. I’m planning on another bowl around 9pm .
Catch ya’ll tomorrow. Hopefully I’m feeling a lot less stressed tomorrow after a good study tonight.
