Hey guys!!
This weekend really got away from me and here’s why…
- We Beat our rivals on Thursday for an awesome win!!!! I was on cloud 9.
- I had to work Saturday and a little bit on Sunday
- I ran 6 miles for my first official long run of 1/2 Marathon Training
- I’m buying a Jeep Wrangler!!!

Here’s what I had for breakfast today.
2 Eggo waffles with buttah (dairy free buttah) and syrup. Bacon on the side. :mrgreen:

So my run. I decided to just skip the 5 miles on my plan and go with 6. I have a mental block about 5 miles. It went great. My legs felt a little tired at 3 miles and at 4.5 they started to feel a little bit like lime jello but I finished strong with each of my miles at a quicker pace than the one before.
- mile 1: 11:02
- mile 2: 10:58
- mile 3: 10:49
- mile 4: 10:42
- mile 5: 10:38
- mile 6 (cool down): 11:51
Booyeah. I used my pink fuel belt for the first time and it worked perfectly. I definitely like how the belt fits. It doesn’t bounce around at all and I actually forgot I was wearing it. I even took a drink of water while still running, SCORE!!
Maren… why are we all of a sudden hearing about Wranglers?!
Well, there is a used car lot right next to where I work and a beautiful orange colored 2001 Wrangler magically appeared on the lot. Believe me, I noticed. It’s beautiful and my Dad took me over to test drive it. That little Jeep rock crawled it’s way into my little beating heart and I couldn’t let go. Unfortunately that’s not the right Jeep for me. It’s orange paint job isn’t very good and the interior isn’t in the best condition. Well now I was infected by Jeep venom so I searched the local car lots for my perfect jeep. We test drove this one up in San Jose.
Aww I love it!!! But it wasn’t the right one either. So I’m still looking. My dad and I might be making a trip down to Los Angeles in the upcoming weekends to find my perfect Wrangler. I know it’s out there.
I hate maple syrup and I actually had syrup on my waffles this morning. Holy weirdness.

I think my dream car would be a BMW x5, and no I don’t own it…haha.
I am more a fan of jams and jellies too. but I’ll occasionally use maple syrup.
No good buying cars stories here. My first car my dad picked out for me, and my 2nd was a high school graduation gift, and it’s the car I still have. I did buy a Tacoma with my boyfriend over a year ago. It was kind of fun to make them go down and down on the price.

Oh girl, I’m searching like crazy! I need my Jeep Baby stat!!! The BMW x5 is so MINT! You’d look like a for real rock star strutting around town in one of those. ;-)

my dream car used to be a beetle convertible..i guess maybe it still is to an extent. but since the winters around here can be brutal, and since Kevin doesnt have a license/car..I knew i’d need something more realistic…i fell in love with the nissan rogue (i was also looking at the Jeep Patriot!) and I bought it back in november. i LOVE it! not a crazy car buying story for that one..pretty much standard, except that i was pleasantly surprised to get better financing then I had anticipated since my credit isnt faboo.

Haha a beetle was my dream car when I turned 16! I wanted the lime green colored one. Yeah, the winters would be pretty rough with the soft top, but so worth it in the summers. Your car is awesome! Nissan’s are super swag!

OMG! A Jeep buddy! I’m sort of obsessed, especially since Jurassic Park is my all time favorite movie. That run totally blew my mind, I believe in myself so much more now!

Thanks Jenn! I’m super duper crazy excited. I think I found my Jeep tonight. It’s about 3 hours away and I’m scheming trying to figure out how to get up there asap to get it.
How can you not like maple syrup?!?! That’s like borderline “we can’t be friends” territory (I kid, but, being Canadian, really love the stuff). Minus the having to work, your weekend sounds pretty good…yay you on your run, and breakfasts that look like smiles make me smile. :) I don’t have a super-good car buying story, but I will say that I always remember my “car birthday” because I bought it the day before my sister’s birthday. Fav fro yo…sadly, it’s been weeks since I had any! :( But banana soft serve is serving me pretty well these days.
I get that reaction all the time, people really like their syrup.

Hm, I just bought a GMC Terrain and I love it (even though it was super expensive). I think my dream car is a Porsche Cayenne…a fast SUV!
I have a Jeep Compass and I love it. I love Wranglers too, but I bought it when I lived back East, so I decided I need my car to be less windy! And yes I love Maple Syrup! The real kind especially!!
