new routines

Hi guys. Long time no see!!

So my basketball coaching season has come to an end. We made it to quarter finals and played great ‘til the very end. I couldn’t be more happy and proud.

Here’s a recap of last week in a paragraph…

I woke up after a sleepless night filled with sporadic basketball dreams/nightmares. Then I drank coffee for breakfast and (especially on game days) I had to skip lunch because I’d see it again around 3pm from a very nervous tummy. Then we’d play a game and WIN until Saturday when we lost, I’d go home and drink a beer or two to relax maybe eat some soup while watching Swamp People reruns and try to get some sleep, repeat the entire process from Friday Feb. 17th to Saturday Feb. 24th!

We have a  major thing to cover in this recap post. I had to quit training for the 1/2 Marathon. :-(

I was too consumed with basketball to focus on fitness and once I stopped eating and sleeping I really couldn’t do the sweat sessions. Plus the long runs that were on my plan were too time consuming between work and the added basketball games or practices that were each evening. I’ve missed too much and can’t make it up. But no worries, I’ll run another one in no time. :mrgreen:

I’m really sad this basketball season has come to an end. It was really special. But now I get to focus on actually making a routine. I’ve graduated from college, I’ve started my steady job, and I haven’t been able to get all organized with my life’s “to do’s” because of basketball or children’s plays. It’s finally time to hunker down and make a routine.

Hopefully this will help with the sporadic bouts of fitness and very unusual eating patters, lets not forget all my missed days of blogging.

Are you guys pretty scheduled with the major things in your life like work, fitness, eating and blogging? Is this something you’d be interested in reading about or should I keep these details to myself??

I’m so glad to be back and ready to get back to reading about all your fab. lives!!! :-D

welcome back girl!!

fitness is alot easier with my set work schedule..i have a very certain routine and somehow manage to balance it all in the end…but running definitely consumes alot of my time. its all good though, i love it! i cant wait to hear about when you sign up for your new half marathon, it’ll be good :)

I’m happy your back! I’ve missed your posts in the morning.

It’s crazy how busy life can get. Totally understandable that the blog took the back burner.

I’m definitely in a routine but things are going to change in August when my boyfriend goes back to school for another degree. ahhhH!

I had never even read blogs until a little over two months ago and now if I go more than two days without reading I feel like I am missing out on so much!! Isn’t that so weird!!! But I love it!! And I missed you so I am glad you are back!!
