Ahh, blog friends! I finally got to read a few of your blogs and boy am I glad. You guys keep me so motivated. You’re all so healthy and make me remember to eat my veggies.
We WON last night!!!! We played a pretty good team and came out on top! It was awesome. I was exhausted after and I drank 2 stella artois to help me get some sleep. But I’ll take that kind of adrenaline rush any time.
Guess what it’s been doing here for the last 2 days?!
We’re finally getting our usual rainy-winter weather. I love rain, but I skipped my 3.5 miles yesterday due to being tired from work and the weather and now today I’m not going to have time to make up my miles!! OHH NO!!!!
What is a runner to do?
My Jammed Packed Agenda for Friday
- 8:00am-3:00pm: work at office
- 3:00pm-4:30pm: basketball practice at the high school
- 5:15pm- ~10:00pm: watching Angelo and Gianna
- I need to run 3.5 miles!!!
I don’t think it’ll happen today, in fact I know it wont. I guess I’ll scratch cross training this week and do my 3.5 miles Saturday and my epic 5 miles Sunday. Work has been crazy tough and I think 5 days of 5-7 hours of manual labor counts as cross training when in a jam… right?!
Breakfast!!!
I had my last Udi’s Lemon muffin, 2 fried eggs and Teeccino. 1 mug for breakfast and 1 commuter cup for work.
I need to get more of these muffins stat, they are so good!
I drank my carob-coffee with soymilk, per usual. It was tasty!
I got a picture of one of the finished wood pieces we’re making at work. Do you want to see it???
It’s a boat… They look pretty cool. I definitely have my favorites and I can’t wait ‘til I move out because I’m going to have some awesome art on my walls. I already have a few picked out. This one is not one of them…
I hope you are all having a little bit more relaxing end to the work week than me. :-D
What are your plans this weekend?

Manual labour is totally cross training! Tonight I’m watching the Princess Diaries with my fiend Megan (’cause we are 14 like that) and tomorrow I’m going to an outdoor hockey game and hoping I don’t freeze my butt off!
I totally understand the feeling. Sometimes there aren’t enough hours in a day. The thing I try to remember is that things don’t actually take as long to do as we think they will.
I feel ya with the busy week! :) And yes, manual labor does count as cross training!
That picture is super cool and very pretty!
The picture is super cool! I know exactly how you feel about a busy week, and yes manual labor does count as cross training. :)
Sometimes it’s so hard to get everything done in one day! I totally feel you on that.
Congrats on the win!
I’m jealous you’ll have art. Our living room doesn’t have one picture hanging in it and we’ve been there since August 2009. Umm…that’s kind-of sad!
I like your beer quote. ;) That’s David’s favorite quote. He has a shirt w/ that quote on it.
very cool that you’ll have real art…it’s taken me a long time to have decent things hanging up on my walls!!
Where do you get those muffins? I love lemon and I love muffins.
I have my race tomorrow!! 10 miles. I ate a lot of pizza and kettle chips tonight.. hope that’s good carbo loading!
Did you get your 3.5 in?? :)
Not enough hours everyday! I’m so behind, Maren. I don’t know what to do. OVERWHELMED is an understatement. But each time I visit here, I leave with a smile on my face. And yes, we do have the coolest mug ever. Love seeing it here!
Weekend is almost over, but it’s been a super low key one. My rest days are falling on Sunday’s so I am totally enjoying them!
Cool picture! :)
