Hi guys! Happy Friday. TGIF, right?!
Clearly everyone has decided the weekend has come early.
Some super duper exciting news.
After my very first post on Top Chef University I received an email from this random guy named Jeff Goldenberg, who claimed to be the creator/ceo of Top Chef University… I did not believe this to be true. So I did what every self-respecting internet-stocking person would do. I did a Google Search!
And guess what… Jeff Goldenberg is kinda the CEO of Top Chef University.
…awkward!
I quickly emailed him back and said nothing of my hesitancy to believe he was who he said he was.
After about a week of emailing back and fourth it’s been decided that I’m going to be a featured blogger on the Top Chef University Blog! All my TCU recipe/how-to posts will be both on Maren’s Morsels and TCU. I’m really really excited and I still can’t believe it. The internet is kinda awesome! :mrgreen:

I’m trying to teach Donner to like his crate…
I realized I have a LARGE BREED dog when I fit my entire 5 foot 10 inch body inside the closed crate comfortably.
Donner now only goes in his crate if I go in too…
But he’s just so cute! I can’t force him to go to ‘jail’!!!

what an awesome honor! i would have been like what? too if I got that email but you went right to researching, smart girl. make sure you send us a link to your article when it comes out because I would love to read it. I used to go in my dog’s crate too as a joke, we used to put our little cousins in there too. hilarious but always a picture worthy moment. Have a great friday!

I’ve fit into suitcases and car trucks…lol.
I’ve also got in Ryder’s crate, but it’s smaller than Donners. Also, Ryder & Donner have the same bed! How cool!
& by car trucks, I mean car truNks.
LOL. I haven’t done the trunk one… Donner loves that bed. He hasn’t tried to eat it once!

Woo hoo! Congrats on being featured on the Top Chef University blog! Can’t wait to read all your posts about what you learn.
I’m so jealous of Donner’s snuggles! I have no idea why, but neither of my dogs are particularly prone to snuggling. :( And don’t worry, my 6 month puppy (and I use the word puppy lightly because he’s almost 70 lbs now) still dislikes the crate. The only way he’ll ever step foot into it is if we throw a treat all the way in the back. Good thing he falls for that trick every time. ;)

Crate training is hard at first, but once they get the hang of it they go in their on their own as it’s their own comfort safety zone. I fit into Lando’s crate with him. Granted we have one built for a Great Dane.
I have also managed to shove myself onto a window sil and hid behind a curtain. :) and get packed into the trunk of a Crown Victoria with ten other girls. And I fit in lockers too!
Breakfast was Jamaba Juice though yours looks wee bit more enjoyable.

SUPER COOL NEWS!! I totally understand double checking who this guy is. I have a blog opportunity coming up and when I was first contacted by this company, I thought it was a hoax until I saw that another blogger was contacted by the SAME person & got some cool stuff to blog about. LOL Safety first!

Yes, once I locked myself out of our house after we had just moved to a new place. I had no keys, phone or spare key. In desperation, I ended up squeezing through the cat door.
