I’ve been thinking a lot about the end of 2011 and all the ways that I can be better at living life in the world. Ya know, maybe doing 8 good deeds a day like the cub scouts, or trying to take a bag of stuff to goodwill every other week. There are loads of possibilities out there.
Mainly, I think I spent 2011 making a bunch of progress on myself. I began coping/letting go of a TON of things that had happened in my past and I started actually being myself again. I’m happy and care free these days which is priceless and I’m so ecstatic about it.
In the next year I really want to continue being the positive, wacky person that I am. Hopefully I’ll become a little healthier (I need to eat more veggies  ) and I need to get on a workout habit. But ultimately I like me how I am, epic I know! I really like my abstract look at healthy living and it works for me.
Slow and steady wins the race… it’s always true. Well, maybe not in the hundred meter dash or the two-hundred meter dash, or the Amazing Race, or the Bachelor but in most things not including the Indi 500 the turtle wins. ;-)

This really is a great post Maren! I totally agree with everything you said. Especially the being happy with yourself. That IS epic!
Totally “sneak” your veggies in. I love putting spinach in my smoothies. :) I thought about trying some avocado in them….hmmmm??
Later! :)
Thanks Brandi. I’m loving your blog. So glad you joined the blog club.
