Good Morning! I don’t think anything exceptionally out of the ordinary happened in the last 39 minutes to make it so much better than any other morning but it sure does feel like something did.

Oh- I know what it is… We’re leaving for a week vacation in 3 days!

I put a enough flax seeds to feed an army of ants in this oatmeal! I’m still trying to work on my tummy troubles and flax seeds is one of the many-many steps I’m taking to attempt to make my tummy feel like a million bucks!

The jury is still out on the flax…

I ate all those oats and nut butter and was still hungry. :-? Shut the Front Door, Maren!! Gah. Oats, and you’re still hungry? BLEEP- at the BLEEP- shiBLEEPBLEEP!

So… I made 1 little blackberry muffin from this single serving muffin recipe!

I followed the recipe exactly except I used olive oil instead of coconut and blackberries instead of blueberries.

I think olive oil makes really great muffins. If you want to try it out, this recipe is a great one. You’ll be a believer after the first mini muffin. If you’re not, then I’ll buy myself a box of tissues and cry for you.

What is your favorite flavor of muffin?

If I’m being honest (and you know I always am) I’d say the HUGE Double Chocolate Chip ones from Costco, especially after warming them up in the microwave for 12 seconds.

Coffee by nature, but tea by choice…

Currently, up in the air on this one

How do you feel about people who wear those strange toe-shoes for running? You know the ones that strengthen your actual feet or something?

Ooohh – I want to make single-serving muffins! I love that you are listening to your body, and eating more when you are still hungry! That is something that I have SUCH a hard time doing! Total props to you!

‘Tummy issues…? Maybe you need to go Gluten-Free? Just kidding. I’d never wish that on anyone, no matter how much I want a GF buddy!

I love Coffee AND Tea, but I drink hot coffee ALL summer long (in the AM) no matter how hot it is. Tea, I save for Fall and Winter – so I guess I must be a coffee person!

Going gluten free is actually an option if some other things don’t help, like the darn flax seeds lol

OH, and the “natural” running shoes. I’m sure I’ll make a lot of enemies saying this, but I think it’s crazy. Bunk. Technology made it possible for running shoes to perform like they do. I don’t care if runners in Africa run barefoot and win Olympic races. I’ll stick to my well-balanced and technology-induced running shoes, thank you very much.

I LOVE flaxseeds! I like drinking them with cranbeery water to get them over with fast, but then they keep me filled up for a couple hours! I hope your stomach issues are working themselves out.
